Boo is a friendly young Lurcher (approx 1 year old) who came into our care via the stray pound after sadly remaining unclaimed. Boo is a real sweetheart and an absolute snuggle bug! She travels well in the car and loves nothing more than lounging in sunny spots or curling up on the sofa. She is at her happiest sat beside you leaning against you for snuggles, or standing beside you where she'll slowly lean on you until she flops down on her side, where she'll show you her belly with her legs in the air, proudly showing you her belly for some gentle tummy rubs! If you’re looking for a loving, affectionate companion who will happily soak up all the snuggle, love and affection you can offer, Boo could be your girl. Boo enjoys getting out on walks, she is gentle on the lead and respectful to other dogs, she loves having a good zoomie in a secure field or safely enclosed garden. She has been known to have a little look around to see what lives on the kitchen countertops too, so her new family will need to make sure anything tempting is safely out of reach while she settles in. Boo knows some basic commands including sit, lie and up — which she has learned means it’s time to get up on the sofa! With her being so relaxed and well behaved around other dogs, we feel she could potentially live with a neutered dog, subject to a successful meet at the centre. Boo can also live with children. We have not seen her around small furries! Boo would like a home where someone is around for most of the day while she settles in and gets to know her new surroundings. She is looking for someone who will enjoy having her as a close companion and who can give her the time, affection and reassurance she needs.
