The cute Bootsman is a young, approximately 7-month-old male dog who was found alone on a field. Fortunately, he was discovered in time and was able to move into a foster home, where he quickly showed himself to be uncomplicated and friendly. Friendly, curious, playful – Bootsman has a sunny disposition and is open to people, other dogs, and even cats. He loves playing with his fellow animals, enjoys human affection, and is simply a real mood-lifter. Bootsman will soon enter puberty, a time when young dogs test boundaries, learn new things, and question their environment. Here, people with loving consistency, patience, and humor are needed to guide through this phase and show Bootsman what family life means. Positive working dog training classes can be a wonderful support here. It is likely that Bootsman is a mix of American Staffordshire Terrier. In Germany, this breed is classified as a so-called Category 1 dog, which is why we unfortunately cannot rehome Bootsman there. However, adoption is possible, for example, to Switzerland (in certain cantons), Sweden, or Belgium. For questions, we are happy to advise. Bootsman is microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and treated for fleas. Der hübsche Bootsman ist ein junger, etwa 7 Monate alter Rüde, der ganz allein auf einem Feld gefunden wurde. Zum Glück wurde er rechtzeitig entdeckt und durfte in eine Pflegestelle ziehen, wo er sich schnell als unkompliziert und freundlich zeigte. Freundlich, neugierig, verspielt – Bootsman hat ein sonniges Wesen und zeigt sich offen gegenüber Menschen, anderen Hunden und sogar Katzen. Er liebt es, mit seinen Artgenossen zu spielen, freut sich über menschliche Zuwendung und ist einfach ein echtes Gute-Laune-Paket. Bootsman wird bald in die Pubertät kommen, eine Zeit, in der junge Hunde Grenzen testen, Neues lernen und ihre Umwelt hinterfragen. Hier braucht es Menschen, die mit liebevoller Konsequenz, Geduld und Humor durch diese Phase begleiten und Bootsman zeigen, was Familienleben bedeutet. Ein positiv arbeitende Hundeschule kann hier eine wunderbare Unterstützung sein. Vermutlich handelt es sich bei Bootsman um einen American Staffordshire Terrier-Mix. In Deutschland gilt diese Rasse als sogenannter Kategorie-1-Hund, weshalb wir Bootsman leider nicht dorthin vermitteln dürfen.
