Adopt Borsika

I am the sweet Borsika, I am neutered and since I was found last year, I am estimated to be about 12 years old. I had huge mammary tumors, which were removed and fortunately were benign. For a few months I was in a dog boarding facility, where I was not doing well. Therefore, I was presented at a veterinary clinic, unfortunately it turned out that I have diabetes mellitus and therefore I need to be injected with insulin twice daily. I let this be done very politely, during feeding it works wonderfully. Unfortunately, I have also gone blind, but I manage surprisingly well with it. Nevertheless, I am a gold treasure and enjoy life, I love people and every little affection and attention makes me wag my tail wildly. I am very clingy and would like to be petted all day long. I get along very well with other dogs, I find the cats here very interesting, that could be more difficult. My shoulder height is 30 cm. Since my chances of being rehomed are probably very low, you can also take on a sponsorship for me.

Ich bin die zuckersüße Borsika, ich bin kastriert und da ich ursprünglich letztes Jahr gefunden wurde, geschätzt ca. 12 Jahre alt. Ich hatte riesengroße Mammatumore, die wurden entfernt und waren glücklicherweise gutartig. Ein paar Monate war ich in einer Hundepension untergebracht, dort ging es mir zuletzt nicht gut. Deshalb wurde ich in einer Tierklinik vorgestellt, leider hat sich heraus gestellt, dass ich Diabetes Mellitus habe und deshalb muss mir 2x täglich Insulin gespritzt werden. Das lasse ich aber ganz brav mit mir machen, während dem Füttern klappt das wunderbar. Zu allem Unglück bin ich auch noch erblindet, komme aber erstaunlich gut damit klar. Nichtsdestotrotz bin ich ein Goldschatz und freue mich des Lebens, ich liebe Menschen und jede noch so kleine Zuwendung und Aufmerksamkeit lassen mich ganz wild wedeln. Ich bin sehr anhänglich und möchte am liebsten den ganzen Tag gestreichelt werden. Mit den anderen Hunden verstehe ich mich sehr gut, die Katzen hier finde ich sehr spannend, das könnte eher schwierig werden. Meine Schulterhöhe beträgt 30 cm. Ein liebes Ehepaar hat die Patenschaft für mich übernommen. 🙂
