Borysko

Mixed Breed · Unknown

Smart, loyal dog. It was meant to be a beautiful life by a person's side, where the dog is looked at like a picture but is loneliness in the shelter. A friend thrown away like trash, without a blink of an eye, without any remorse, sent to the row of homeless animals. Borys has recovered from his situation. His heart broke. Today he's a different dog, because time heals wounds. It's time to move on, time for a new home. We are looking for a person for Borys! He's a beautiful, dignified shepherd dog. Smart like few other animals (seriously), well-groomed, composed, patient. Fantastic on a leash, obedient, polite, well-behaved. A friendly cuddler. Unique. Help us find a home for Borys. He deserves the best happy ending. Contact for help: 792054144 Share

PL·Show original

To piękny, dostojny owczarek. Mądry jak mało który zwierzak (serio), stonowany, opanowany, cierpliwy. Fantastycznie chodzi na smyczy, jest posłuszny, grzeczny, ułożony. Towarzyski przytulak. Niepowtarzalny. Pomóżcie szukać domu dla Boryska. Zasługuje na najlepszy happy end. Kontakt w sprawie adopcji: 792054144 Share

About Borysko

What life with Borysko looks like

Borysko is a medium-sized adult mixed breed dog waiting at Przytulisko u Wandy in Poland.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Borysko, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Borysko?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Przytulisko u Wandy handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Borysko on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Borysko if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Przytulisko u Wandy will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Borysko already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Borysko isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Przytulisko u Wandy early rather than rehoming privately; they know Borysko and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
