Boulette &#8211

Mixed Breed · Unknown · Young · 2 years

Hello, I'm Boulette! I'm a young German Shepherd about 2 years old, full of energy and very playful. I love playing with humans and other dogs. I know my name, I know how to sit and I'm responsive. I learn quickly and I like to discover new things. I still need to improve my emotional management when I meet other dogs. I'm very enthusiastic and sometimes tend to be a bit rough in the game, especially with friends smaller than me. With a little guidance, I'll know how to better channel all this energy! I also need to be gradually accustomed to solitude because being alone is not my strong point yet. At home I'm clean and I know how to enjoy quiet moments. Access to a garden would be a real plus, in addition to my walks. Affectionate, lively and intelligent, I'm looking for a person who is present and ready to complete my education. I hope to meet you soon! "My profile interests you, you can contact the LPA-NF of Lille who will give you the contact details of my foster family by sending an email to the address or calling 03.20.52.52.16"

About Boulette &#8211

What life with Boulette &#8211 looks like

Boulette &#8211 is a young adult mixed breed dog waiting at LPA Nord de la France in Lille.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇫🇷Adopting from France

French refuges follow the SPA framework: adopters sign a cession contract that includes sterilization, vaccinations, microchip identification, and rabies passport. Fees are typically €150–€300. Many refuges work with rescue transport partners for cross-border placements.

Frequently asked

Adopting Boulette &#8211, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Boulette &#8211?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. LPA Nord de la France handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Boulette &#8211 on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Boulette &#8211 if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — LPA Nord de la France will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Boulette &#8211 already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Boulette &#8211 isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with LPA Nord de la France early rather than rehoming privately; they know Boulette &#8211 and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
