05/2025 Bourbon, geboren ca. 10/2022, kastriert,ca. 55 cm Schulterhöhe, im Shelter seit 01/2023 Bourbon geht unter :( Bourbon kam als winziger Welpe zu uns – und ist seitdem hier. Er kennt nichts anderes als das Leben im Shelter. Ein Alltag voller Lärm, Stress und viel zu wenig individueller Zuwendung. Früher war Bourbon ein fröhlicher, lustiger Hund. Neugierig, offen, mittendrin. Doch mit der Zeit hat sich das geändert. Schritt für Schritt hat er sich zurückgezogen. Nicht, weil er nicht möchte – sondern weil das Leben hier ihn leise hat werden lassen. Zwischendurch durfte Bourbon auch frei leben, und genau das zeigt, wer er wirklich ist: Ein Hund, der Freiheit braucht, Bewegung, eigene Entscheidungen. Eingesperrt zu sein entspricht ihm überhaupt nicht – doch zu seiner Sicherheit bleibt uns leider keine andere Möglichkeit. Wenn man heute auf Bourbon zugeht, sieht man zuerst dieses vorsichtige Innehalten: „Was ist das? Was passiert jetzt? “ Aber er zeigt keinerlei Aggression. Kein Schnappen, kein Abwehren. Im Gegenteil – er bleibt, beobachtet, und legt sich schließlich sogar dazu. Und beginnt, die Nähe zu genießen. Ganz still. Ganz vorsichtig. Bourbon ist nicht verloren. Er wartet einfach noch auf seine Chance. Für ihn wünschen wir uns ein Zuhause, welches ihm Sicherheit gibt und ihm zeigt, dass er sich entspannen darf. Menschen mit Geduld, die nichts erwarten, sondern ihn ankommen lassen. Und wir sind uns sicher: Gibt man Bourbon diese Zeit – Wochen oder vielleicht ein paar Monate – dann wird er wieder aufblühen. Wird laufen, spielen, durch Wiesen und Felder flitzen und das Leben genießen. Es wäre so unendlich traurig, wenn Bourbon nach all den Jahren weiterhin übersehen wird und noch mehr Zeit im Shelter verbringen muss. Befindet sich aktuell in Rumänien und darf ausreisen, wenn er ein Zuhause gefunden hat. Reist gechipt und geimpft (EU Impfpass; Impfungen: Tollwut und Grundimmunisierung). Alle Hunde werden bei ihrer Ankunft im Shelter sowie anschließend mindestens einmal jährlich gegen Darmparasiten und Ektoparasiten behandelt. Die geschilderten Verhaltensbeobachtungen basieren auf dem Alltag im Shelter und können sich in einem häuslichen Umfeld unter veränderten Lebensbedingungen entsprechend anders darstellen.
