Zwischen den acht Welpen, die gemeinsam mit ihrer verstorbenen Mutter mitten im Nirgendwo in einem Karton gefunden wurden, war noch eine weitere schwarze Hündin. Kein Welpe mehr. Kein Zufall irgendwie auch nicht. Ob sie ihre große Schwester war, ihre Tante oder einfach eine Seele, die zu ihnen gehörte – wir werden es wahrscheinlich nie erfahren. Aber eines wissen wir ganz sicher: Božika war Teil dieser kleinen Schicksalsfamilie. Und vielleicht erklärt das auch, warum sie so besonders ist. Božika bedeutet sinngemäß „die Göttliche“ oder „Gottesgeschenk“ – und ehrlich? Irgendwie passt das erschreckend gut zu dieser wunderschönen Hündin. Mit ihrem seidigen schwarzen Fell, den weichen Gesichtszügen und diesen großen, aufgeweckten Öhrchen sieht sie aus wie eine kleine Waldfee auf vier Pfoten. Eine von diesen Hündinnen, die man anschaut und sofort ins Schwärmen gerät. Dabei ist nicht nur ihre Optik bezaubernd – Božika ist auch charakterlich einfach ein Schatz. Sie wird als unglaublich lieb, freundlich und angenehm beschrieben. Eine richtig tolle Maus, die mit ihrer sanften Art sofort Herzen einsammelt. Nicht laut, nicht aufdringlich – eher diese Art Hund, die sich still und heimlich direkt mitten ins Herz legt. Mit ihrer mittleren Größe ist sie zudem ein absoluter Alltagsbegleiter-Traum: groß genug für Abenteuer, klein genug zum Kuscheln auf dem Sofa. Und genau das wünschen wir ihr jetzt auch endlich – ein echtes Zuhause. Eins, in dem sie nicht mehr „die schwarze Hündin von damals“ ist, sondern endlich einfach Božika sein darf. Geliebt. Sicher.
