Breeze

Greyhound · Male · Young · 3 years

Breeze is a lovely boy who has spent his life so far in kennels though he has never been used as a racer. He ready to now find a family of his own and enjoy some home comforts. He is currently part of our HomeStay scheme so is not at the centre but appointments can be made to meet him if you are found to be a match. Breeze is a 3yr old Greyhound looking for a family to help him settle into home life. He is a sweet, friendly boy who loves being around people, playing with his toys and having the opportunity to run around. Breeze is currently living with his sister Puddles and they could go to their new home together or seperately. Breeze also has the potential to live with another doggy friend pending successful meets at the centre. He has not had much experience of being around children and would be best suited to a home where any children are of Older Secondary School age or older. Breeze has never been in a home before so would like someone to be with him most of the time initially to help him settle into his new home and routine, once settled leaving hours could be built up. He would like his own secure garden to help him settle into his new home, help with toilet training and provide somewhere for his much-loved zoomies!

About Breeze

What life with Breeze looks like

Breeze is a young adult greyhound dog waiting at Dogs Trust Snetterton in Snetterton.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Breeze, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Breeze?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Dogs Trust Snetterton handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Breeze on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Breeze if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Dogs Trust Snetterton will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Breeze already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Breeze isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Dogs Trust Snetterton early rather than rehoming privately; they know Breeze and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
