Brendan - a true emergency Brendan was found on the street. What luck that someone took pity on him and brought him to the animal shelter. Emaciated to the bone and severely marked by active leishmaniasis, he is now safe and receiving care. However, what he needs is a place where he can get rest, treatment, adapted nutrition, and lots of affection. The animal shelter isn't the right place for him and his needs. Ideally, people who take him in should have experience with this disease. Brendan's handler will also support and advise you on all questions about leishmaniasis. On our information page, you can find an initial information. It would be nice if Brendan could go on a transport to Germany soon so he can receive proper care. With the right treatment, he will surely become a happy and cheerful dog very soon. The Podenco Maneto is not only a handsome dog, but also characteristically something special - a mix of dog, cat, and clown - irresistible for connoisseurs and lovers of the breed. Podenco Maneto Brendan – ein echter Notfall Brendan wurde auf der Straße gefunden. Welch ein Glück, dass sich jemand seiner erbarmt hat und er ins Tierheim gebracht wurde. Abgemagert bis auf die Knochen und schwer gezeichnet von einer aktiven Leishmaniose ist er nun erst einmal in Sicherheit und wird versorgt. Was er aber braucht, ist ein Platz, wo er Ruhe, Behandlung, angepasste Ernährung und ganz viel Zuwendung bekommt. Das Tierheim ist nicht der richtige Ort für ihn und seine Bedürfnisse. Idealerweise sollten die Menschen, die ihn bei sich aufnehmen, Erfahrung mit dieser Erkrankung haben.
