Brian

Mixed Breed · Male · Adult · 4 years

Love him already 🐾❤️ Brian is approximately 3–4 years old and is now looking for a special family who will love him just as much as he deserves. This lovely boy is off to get his vaccinations tomorrow, and he’ll also be having a little procedure to make him feel a bit lighter! ✂️🤫 Once he’s recovered, Brian will be ready to start the next chapter of his life with his forever family. 🐾❤️ A Little About Brian Brian is a wonderfully chilled-out boy who takes life in his stride. He’s been a much-loved companion and has a lovely, easy-going nature. He’s great with children, cats and other dogs , making him a very special addition to the right home. He loves getting out and about for his walks, but once he’s home and settled, he’s more than happy to relax. In fact, Brian is quite the champion snorer! 😂❤️ With his adorable face and that permanently grumpy-cat expression, Brian has a way of stealing your heart without even trying. Don’t let his funny little face fool you – underneath it is a very sweet boy who deserves to be loved and cherished. Could You Be Brian’s Forever Family? 🏡 We’re looking for a loving home for Brian, where he can enjoy his walks, have cosy naps, share plenty of affection and be part of the family. Brian has so much to offer and deserves a home where he’ll be loved for the wonderful boy he is. Could you be the person who gives him his happily ever after? ❤️ If you think Brian could be the perfect addition to your family, please get in touch with us to find out more about adopting him. Adoption fee: £460 (including microchip registration)

About Brian

What life with Brian looks like

Brian is an adult mixed breed dog waiting at Doggy Dens UK Rescue in United Kingdom.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Brian, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Brian?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Doggy Dens UK Rescue handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Brian on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Brian if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Doggy Dens UK Rescue will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Brian already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Brian isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Doggy Dens UK Rescue early rather than rehoming privately; they know Brian and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
