Bridzi

Mixed Breed · Male · Senior · 14 years

Bridzi was found in 2012 on Pančevo Bridge, sitting motionless and frightened in the road by the edge of the pavement. Bridzi is a strong-willed cat with a somewhat dominant nature, so he does best with cats that accept his authority. With people, he is gentle and affectionate and enjoys every moment of attention. He will spend his retirement years in our shelter, where he is loved and has the security he deserves.

About Bridzi

What life with Bridzi looks like

Bridzi is a senior mixed breed cat waiting at Help Animals Belgrade (Shelter Jessica) in Serbia.

Senior cats are the gentlest house guests: predictable, mostly silent, and grateful for a sunny windowsill. Older cats often have minor dental or kidney issues — keep an eye on water intake and weight. Many sleep eighteen hours a day and want no part of any drama.

🇷🇸Adopting from Serbia

The shelter typically completes the animal's vaccinations, microchipping, and pet passport before adoption. Specific fees and process details vary by shelter and country — confirm directly via the contact details in the sidebar.

Frequently asked

Adopting Bridzi, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Bridzi?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Help Animals Belgrade (Shelter Jessica) handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Bridzi on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Bridzi if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Help Animals Belgrade (Shelter Jessica) will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Bridzi already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Bridzi isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Help Animals Belgrade (Shelter Jessica) early rather than rehoming privately; they know Bridzi and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
