uncertain, compatible, curious Brioche is a small, white male dog with a story that goes deep. He got his name because after being rescued, he slept for days rolled up like a doughnut, finally in safety. Because Brioche has experienced terrible things. He spent years neglected and frightened in a suburb of Pereira. When he was rescued, the extent of his suffering became clear. His fur had matted into thick patches from years of neglect, full of burrs and thorns. A painful burden that gave him little rest and had to be shaved immediately under anesthesia. In addition, he has a severe, chronic ear infection that still needs daily treatment. This necessary daily contact is currently our way in to him, a hint of adaptation in small steps. Brioche is traumatized and deeply unsettled. He was not born as a street dog, but was once abandoned, went wild, and only knew fear and exclusion. He has made great progress in the last 3 months, thanks to the patience of our colleagues on site. He can now be easily petted. His ear infection is also improving. Therefore, he will soon go to a special foster home in Germany. All are vaccinated, microchipped, and have an EU passport. They are checked for Mediterranean diseases according to their age. unsicher, verträglich, neugierig Brioche, ist ein kleiner, weißer Rüde mit einer Geschichte, die unter die Haut geht. Seinen Namen hat er, weil er nach seiner Rettung tagelang fest zusammengerollt wie ein Hefeteilchen schlief, endlich in Sicherheit. Denn Brioche hat Schreckliches erlebt. Er verbrachte Jahre verwahrlost und verängstigt in einem Vorort von Pereira. Bei seiner Rettung zeigte sich das Ausmaß seiner Not. Sein Fell war durch jahrelange Vernachlässigung zu dicken Platten verfilzt, gespickt mit Kletten und Dornen. Eine schmerzhafte Last, die ihm kaum Ruhe ließ und die sofort unter Narkose geschoren werden musste. Hinzu kam eine schwere, chronische Ohrenentzündung, die noch immer täglich behandelt werden muss. Dieser notwendige tägliche Kontakt ist im Moment unser Zugang zu ihm, ein Hauch von Gewöhnung in Minischritten. Brioche ist traumatisiert und tief verunsichert. Er wurde nicht als Straßenhund geboren, sondern einst verlassen, verwilderte und lernte nur Angst und Ausgrenzung kennen. Er hat seit 3 Monaten schon riesige Fortschritte gemacht, dank der Geduld unserer Kolleginnen vor Ort. Mittlerweile lässt er sich problemlos streicheln. Auch seine Ohrenentzündung wird besser. Er darf deshalb bald auf eine besondere Pflegestelle in Deutschland ausreisen. sind alle geimpft, gechipt und haben einen EU-Ausweis. Sie werden altersentsprechend auf Mittelmeerkrankheiten gecheckt.
