When Brownie was taken in, it was said that he and another dog named Rocco were only supposed to be temporarily socialized with the family for about a year and a half. However, the dogs were never picked up again. The family moved, and the dogs couldn't go with them. Later, it turned out that when they were in the house, the two had spent their time tied up on a chain. In the meantime, Brownie found a place. Unfortunately, it turned out that he doesn't get along with cats at all. Brownie has a loving personality, but due to his experiences, his behavior is still insecure. Therefore, he needs dog-experienced people who can be patient and understanding with him, give him security, and continue working with him to become more confident. Once he has built trust, he is very clingy and oriented towards his people. A confident and friendly second dog would be ideal, but cats are a no-go. Brownie is vaccinated, microchipped, and up for adoption. Als uns Brownie übergeben wurde hiess es, dass er und ein anderer Hund namens Rocco, vor eineinhalb Jahren bloss von der Familie gesittet werden sollten. Die Hunde seien jedoch nie wieder abgeholt worden. Die Familie zieht um und die Hunde können nicht mit. Später stellte sich heraus, dass die beiden, wenn sie im Haus waren, die Zeit an einer Kette angebunden verbracht hatten. Zwischenzeitlich hatte Brownie einen Platz gefunden. Leider stellte sich jedoch heraus, dass er sich überhaupt nicht mit Katzen versteht. Brownie hat einen lieben Charakter, ist aber aufgrund seiner Erfahrungen in seinem Verhalten noch unsicher. Deshalb braucht er hundeerfahrene Menschen, die ihm Geduld und Verständnis entgegen bringen, ihm Sicherheit geben und weiter mit ihm daran arbeiten, dass er selbstbewusster wird. Sobald er Vertrauen gefasst hat, ist er sehr anhänglich und orientiert sich an seinen Menschen. Ein selbstsicherer und freundlicher Zweithund wäre denkbar, Katzen sind ein Tabu. Brownie wird geimpft, gechippt, mit Schutzvertrag und gegen eine Schutzgebühr von CHF 600.– vermittelt.
