Charactery & friendly, people-oriented and good-natured, child-sensitive and attentive, intelligent (with an Aussie component) with a good nose (Beagle component), he bonds closely with his trusted people, lives in the family routine, can stay alone after settling in, prefers his own space, enjoys quiet walks as well as joint activities, and adapts well to clear structures. Important to know – Hunting/Activity Drive: He shows a pronounced hunting or activity drive, which particularly projects onto buses. In bus-dense areas, he requires forward-looking management (leash, distance). In a quiet environment, he is well manageable. Experience in handling hunt-motivated dogs is advantageous.
