Bruno

Mixed Breed · Male · Kitten · 7 months

Bruno fecha de nacimiento / dob: 26-03-2026 aprox.Personality: Bruno is a sensitive, observant little guy who prefers to take a moment to get a feel for his surroundings before making a move. At first, he may seem a little hesitant when you approach, but all it takes is a few gentle strokes to discover that, beneath that initial caution, there’s a true cuddle lover. 💛And he has one very specific weakness: scratches behind the ears. They drive him absolutely crazy! 😻 The moment you start, it’s as if his little legs stop working, and he simply melts into a puddle of pure bliss. It’s one of those little moments that makes you want to keep petting him just a little longer. But this little guy also has his own ways of keeping himself entertained. He might lie down peacefully on the tiled floor and watch the washing machine spin. And when the cycle ends, he doesn’t just wander off to do something else: he stays right there, patiently waiting and watching, just in case it starts moving again. 😂 Who needs toys when there’s a washing machine full of mysteries to solve? He also has a very distinctive way of relaxing, stretching his hind legs straight out behind him as if he’s melted right onto the floor. 🐾 It’s these little quirks, along with the way he relaxes once he realises he’s in good hands, that gradually reveal his personality.Just like Benito, he comes to greet you when you enter his room and absolutely loves his morning and evening wet food. And yes, he joins in with the chorus when mealtime arrives… or when he thinks you’ve walked in without bringing what’s expected. Some things simply cannot be left unaddressed! 🍽️Bruno is a very sweet little boy who’s easy to win over. He loves company, enjoys being shown affection, and has a particular weakness for scratches behind the ears. He’s an absolute sweetheart who loves his cuddles and doesn’t need much encouragement to show just how much he enjoys having someone around. 😻 Although they’re not actually brothers, someone should tell them that! 😂 Benito and Bruno have become inseparable companions. 🥰 They get along wonderfully and love sharing their everyday lives, so wherever you find one, there’s a good chance the other won’t be far away. They have different personalities, but they seem to understand each other perfectly and keep each other company on this little adventure they share. 🐾If adopting as a pair we recommend: His brother from another mother, Benito —of course! Can Iive with kids? Yes! Ideally, they’d be calm children who respect his space and give him time to build trust. Plus, having his inseparable Benito by his side is sure to help him feel more comfortable. 🐾Can live with other animals? Yes. Untested with dogs but we think he'd be fine.Ideal home: Along with his beloved half-brother, Benito, he’ll fit right in with any type of family—whether it’s a single person, a couple, or a larger family. Please note that we give priority to people who already have another compatible cat living with them or who are adopting a pair. A balcony or terrace is always a plus! About Bruno

What life with Bruno looks like

Bruno is a kitten mixed breed cat waiting at Gatalunya Cat Rescue in Spain.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇪🇸Adopting from Spain

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee. Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.

Frequently asked

Adopting Bruno, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Bruno?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Gatalunya Cat Rescue handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Bruno on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Bruno if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Gatalunya Cat Rescue will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Bruno already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Bruno isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Gatalunya Cat Rescue early rather than rehoming privately; they know Bruno and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
