Our gentle and delicate Bryony is a one-year-old domestic shorthair cat. She was born to a feral mother and is still very young, having given birth to six kittens in the past year, four of whom survived. The kittens are now ready to be adopted, and Bryony is also looking for her forever home. Despite her first year of life without human contact, Bryony quickly sought out our shelter and discovered the joys of human affection. She is still a bit shy around strangers and takes a couple of days to warm up. Having a resident cat would be a big help, as this beautiful tiger-striped girl is very social with other cats and would love to have a companion. She would be a great addition to a home with older children or those with a calm temperament. Bryony is afraid of dogs. Given her outdoor experience, she would love to have the freedom to roam in nature. She would thrive in a more rural setting, as she would be overwhelmed by the stress of city life or a densely populated neighborhood.

Selber noch furchtbar jung, hat sie in diesem Jahr, kurz nach ihrer Sicherung, 6 Kitten bei uns geboren. Von denen vier überlebt haben. Die kleinen sind nun ausgezogen und nur Bryony ist noch bei uns geblieben und sucht nun ihre Familie. Das sanfte Katzenmädchen hat trotz ihres ersten Lebensjahres draussen ohne Menschen, schnell den Kontakt zu uns gesucht und hat schnell bemerkt wie toll menschliche Zuwendung sein kann. Dennoch ist sie bei Fremden Menschen noch etwas unsicher und braucht 2-3 Tage bis sie so richtig auftaut. Eine bereits vorhandene Katze würde ihr dabei sehr helfen, denn das hübsche Tigermädchen ist sehr sozial mit Artgenossen und möchte gerne eine zweite Katze in ihrem Umfeld haben. Kinder wären sicher möglich wenn diese schon etwas älter oder selber eher von ruhigem Charakter sind. Vor Hunden hat Bryony Angst. Da sie das Leben draussen sehr gut kennt, wünscht sie sich nach Eingewöhnung Freilauf in die Natur. Sie sollte eher etwas ländlich leben, da Straßenverkehr oder eine enggebaute Wohnsiedlung sie doch zu sehr stressen würde.
