Feivel

Male · Adult · 4 years

Breed: Japanese / Wild Mix Gender: Male, neutered Since in our shelter: 2/9/2025 Features: Not suitable for individual housing, seeks a female companion, exclusively in outdoor housing. Temperament: Shy, anxious, reserved, with a lot of wild instincts, Feivel like the Mousetraveler, this fancy wild-colored critter is named. However, it's not a mouse but a neutered male rabbit. The "wild color" isn't by chance, as Feivel has real wild rabbits among its ancestors, unintentionally bred with Japanese rabbits, this fancy fellow was born in July 22. This naturally also explains his somewhat wild and bold nature. For a wild life, the little fellow unfortunately isn't suitable anymore, so he now seeks the right companion, whom he can charm, in his stormy way (she should be robust), in outdoor housing and not as a snuggly rabbit for children. He simply wants to enjoy life with a nice girl or a group of girls.

Rasse: Japaner / Wild-Mix Geschlecht: Männlich, Kastriert Bei uns seit: 9.2.2025 Merkmale: Keine Einzelhaltung, sucht weibliches Partnertier, ausschließlich in Außenhaltung.

Frequently asked

Adopting Feivel, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Feivel?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierschutz Eutin und Umgebung e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Feivel on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Feivel if I live in another country?: Sometimes. Whether a animal can move between countries depends on the species and the rules in both countries, and some species need permits or have restrictions. Ask Tierschutz Eutin und Umgebung e.V. what paperwork and transport they require, and check the import rules of your country before you commit.
Is Feivel already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: What a animal comes with (vet checks, vaccinations, identification, paperwork) varies by shelter and species. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask Tierschutz Eutin und Umgebung e.V. directly what is included and what Feivel still needs.
What happens if Feivel isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierschutz Eutin und Umgebung e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Feivel and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
