How do I contact the shelter about Bubi?

Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. ForDogs z.s. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Bubi on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.

Can I adopt Bubi if I live in another country?

Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — ForDogs z.s. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.

Is Bubi already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?

Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.

What happens if Bubi isn't the right fit?

Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with ForDogs z.s. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Bubi and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.

Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?

TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (CS). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.

Bubi

Female · Puppy · 11 months

Bubinka is a very young female dog looking for a loving home. She is gentle, spoiled, and at the same time active, who doesn't spoil any fun. She loves toys, enjoys playing fetch and tug-of-war. New situations frighten her, especially the hustle and bustle of the city, cars, etc. In such moments, she seeks support from her human. She has learned to walk on a leash, but walks are not her favorite discipline yet, she is more confident in places she knows well. We are looking for a home for her ideally in the countryside or a quieter part of the city, where she will gradually get to know the world around her. We believe that with a sensitive approach, she will soon follow her owner calmly to the end of the world. She loves children. We would imagine her as the ideal family dog. Housing exclusively indoors, whether in an apartment or a house with a garden. She is not fully toilet trained. She gets along with other dogs, likes to play with them, but can bark. She will be chipped, vaccinated, dewormed, spayed, and will have an adoption contract after paying the adoption fee (2500, -). The condition of adoption is at least one non-binding visit. She is located in Svárov, Central Bohemia.

About Bubi

What life with Bubi looks like

Bubi is a medium-sized puppy/kitten dog waiting at ForDogs z.s. in Czech Republic.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇨🇿Adopting from Czech Republic

Czech shelters (útulky) include sterilization, vaccinations, and microchip ID. The adopter signs a written contract (smlouva) — the shelter may follow up to verify wellbeing.
