BUDDY - experienced dog-human pairs needed - waiting in 55422 Bacharach - handsome, kind, social mix-male dog Buddy, born 02/2024 is looking for a competent care place, which we financially support or dog-experienced adopters! - Hello - my name is Buddy and I was born in February 2024 in Bulgaria and am about 50 cm tall. I am neutered, healthy according to the veterinarian, 4 D Test (test for Mediterranean diseases is negative) - I was in an animal shelter in Bulgaria and thanks to kind people I was able to travel to Germany to a family with children, as I am very people-oriented. In this family there was also an autistic child, who made me afraid with his behavior or the noise. I withdrew and have even growled once, but otherwise I did nothing. The family thought it was better to look for another place for me, so animal protection friends took me to a dog boarding where I jump and play with my buddies in the forest during the day and am in the house at night. Unfortunately, no one walks with me or does exciting things with me. I would really like a sporty family, but preferably as a foster home and without children, as I have become insecure. Of course you can also adopt me if you fall in love with me. I would like to attend dog training classes, so my animal protection friends are looking for experienced people who enjoy working with me so that I can find my way in everyday life and develop further. I am healthy and kind and will be vaccinated again soon and am looking for someone who is up to the challenge. It is said that I can sometimes be dominant towards other dogs. I don't like cats much. Otherwise I am very social and love human company. We from the animal protection would like to support an offered foster home and give financial help to give the dear Buddy a chance at a family life. Please contact us for more information. We don't see Buddy in the city, as he doesn't know it and he is a power pack that should also be kept busy - rather on the countryside. Please contact me, I would really like to have my own family again - I liked being with the family in Germany, but I couldn't read the autistic child .... BUDDY - waiting in 55422 Bacharach - Contact via WhatsApp: or - email: - (I volunteer for the Bulgarian association Lapa, through which Buddy is rehomed) We release data and ask to share, also in public media and on Facebook.

BUDDY - erfahrene Hunde-Menschen gesucht - wartet in 55422 Bacharach - hübscher lieber sozialer Mix-Rüde Buddy, geb. About BUDDY

What life with BUDDY looks like

BUDDY is a young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Tier-Not-Hilfe in Germany.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting BUDDY, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about BUDDY?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tier-Not-Hilfe handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw BUDDY on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt BUDDY if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tier-Not-Hilfe will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is BUDDY already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if BUDDY isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tier-Not-Hilfe early rather than rehoming privately; they know BUDDY and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
