The charming BUDDY is waiting in the municipal animal shelter for his people to finally discover him! At currently about 5 months old (born approx. 04/2026), this handsome male had to get to know the harsh shelter routine at the tender age of around 8 weeks. All the more urgently, BUDDY needs to leave the shelter as soon as possible so that during this formative adolescent phase, with a family of his own, he can receive all the positive input and love he needs for a wonderful development. Visually, BUDDY is a beautiful eye-catcher with a German Shepherd-like look: his dense, grey-speckled coat, dark muzzle, and the lovely white patch on his chest give him a thoroughly charming appearance. His loyal, dark eyes look out at the world still a little cautiously, but full of love. At currently about 40–45 cm shoulder height and roughly 15 kg, he has a nice, compact build and will likely grow into an elegant, medium-sized companion. In character, this young man proves to be extremely people-oriented, friendly, and open. He is curious about life but tends to approach new stimuli with caution; he is gentle and submissive. He never pushes himself forward, and with a little patience quickly builds trust. The basics of dog life – such as house-training, leash walking, and living in a household – are of course still things this clever fellow needs to learn. BUDDY gets along very well with other dogs and is uncomplicated in a pack. An existing first dog in the new home could give him security as a guide, but this is not a requirement. He is open and curious toward cats. After a positive pre-screening, BUDDY will travel to his new home vaccinated, microchipped, and with an EU pet passport. Mit seinen aktuell ca. 5 Monaten (geboren ca. 04/2026) musste der hübsche Rüde schon im zarten Alter von etwa 8 Wochen den harten Shelter-Alltag kennenlernen. Umso dringender ist es, dass BUDDY das Tierheim schnellstmöglich verlassen kann, um in dieser prägenden Jugendphase bei einer eigenen Familie all den positiven Input und die Liebe zu bekommen, die er für eine tolle Entwicklung braucht. Optisch ist BUDDY ein wunderschöner Hingucker im schäferhundartigen Look: Sein dichtes, grau-meliertes Fell, die dunkle Schnauze und der hübsche weiße Fleck auf der Brust verleihen ihm ein rundum charmantes Aussehen. Aus seinen treuen, dunklen Augen blickt er noch etwas vorsichtig, aber voller Liebe in die Welt. Mit seinen aktuell ca. 40–45 cm Schulterhöhe und rund 15 kg bringt er eine schöne, kompakte Statur mit und wird ausgewachsen voraussichtlich ein eleganter, mittelgroßer Begleiter werden. Charakterlich zeigt sich der junge Mann als überaus menschenbezogen, freundlich und aufgeschlossen. Er ist neugierig auf das Leben, begegnet neuen Reizen aber eher vorsichtig, sanftmütig und devot. Er drängt sich nie in den Vordergrund, sondern fasst mit etwas Geduld schnell Vertrauen. Das Hunde-Einmaleins – wie Stubenreinheit, Leinenführigkeit und das Leben im Haushalt – möchte der schlaue Kerl natürlich noch lernen. Mit anderen Hunden ist BUDDY bestens verträglich und zeigt sich im Rudel unkompliziert. Ein bereits vorhandener Ersthund im neuen Zuhause könnte ihm als Orientierungshilfe viel Sicherheit geben, ist aber kein Muss. Katzen gegenüber ist er aufgeschlossen und neugierig. BUDDY reist nach positiver Vorkontrolle geimpft, gechippt und mit EU-Heimtierausweis in sein neues Zuhause.
