Introduction: Buddy is a fun-loving little lady but does have sensitive side, she bonds very closely with those she trusts. Buddy is looking for the perfect retirement home, where she can spend all of her time with a loving family. Home wanted: She would like access to her own secure garden for plenty of sniffing! She is housetrained, was used to being left alone up to 4 hours, ok with travelling but does sometimes cry. Can be worried by loud noises or too much activity, so would prefer a quieter home. Behaviour towards people/children: Social with everyone she meets but prefers a gentle approach to making friends. Buddy is looking for an adult only home or a home with sensible older children who are used to dogs. Children ideally aged 12+ Very affectionate with those she knows, may be shy initially with new people. Other animals: Buddy would prefer to be the only dog in the home but would enjoy some social friends on walks. Interactions with other dogs outside of the home need to be carefully managed – prefers males and calm/older dogs. Not suited to living with cats, birds or small animals. Will chase. Additional needs (behavioural/extra support): Would need a home understanding of the breeds enrichment needs and able to support her emotionally. A home that understands she may need a gentle approach when making new friends. Would like a home where she is not left a lot and will require support with being left.
