Bulle

European Shorthair Β· Male Β· Adult Β· 4 years

Bidi and Bulle (3 years old) are brother and sister who have been staying with us for some time. They were terrified of people, but with love and patience, they are slowly but surely opening up. Neither of them are beginner cats and their future family must understand that they need space and time to continue to develop. They should not be placed together, but they do need a companion to help them discover the world. Bulle has made great progress, we would even dare to say he is becoming a true cuddler. He still distrusts people he doesn't know, but once he trusts you, he is a true Casanova. Other cats are a must for him, and we suspect he won't appreciate the noise of small children. Where can Bulle come home and finally bid farewell to shelter life after almost 3 years?

About Bulle

What life with Bulle looks like

Bulle is a small adult european shorthair cat waiting at ACE / SHIN (Animal Care Espana) in Spain.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction β€” every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡ΈAdopting from Spain

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee. Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.

Frequently asked

Adopting Bulle, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Bulle?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. ACE / SHIN (Animal Care Espana) handles screening and the adoption contract directly β€” TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Bulle on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Bulle if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad β€” ACE / SHIN (Animal Care Espana) will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Bulle already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported β€” ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Bulle isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work β€” that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with ACE / SHIN (Animal Care Espana) early rather than rehoming privately; they know Bulle and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (NL). Translation is imperfect β€” names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
