One night, a little dog was abandoned in a playground. Tied up and left behind in the darkness, this sweet soul, struggling with mobility issues, was discarded by those who should have protected her. And that’s how Callisto came into our lives – a young pit bull full of kindness, despite her neurological condition and unsteady little paws. Thanks to your support, we managed to provide her with all the necessary medical tests. Unfortunately, her MRI revealed cerebellar atrophy, a condition that likely resulted from an infection as a puppy or irresponsible backyard breeding. But Callisto didn’t let this define her! Despite her mobility challenges, she showers everyone with love, cuddles, and kisses. She never makes a mess indoors and patiently waits for her walks. And now, with her special wheelchair – a generous gift from our dear friend Vasilis Tzigouras – she can run and enjoy life to the fullest! Callisto is not even 4 years old, and she is waiting for that special person who will love her just as she is.
