Campo - quiet, cautious and full of hope The handsome mixed breed dog Campo came together with his brother Al to the Spanish animal shelter in autumn 2025. While Al was allowed to travel to Germany, Campo remained alone - and it is clearly noticeable how much he misses his brother as a point of orientation and support. Since then, the sensitive dog often seems somewhat lost. Campo is not a dog who immediately throws himself into the arms of every person. He initially meets new situations cautiously and observing. However, those who give him time and do not pressure him will see how he slowly gains trust. Especially in a calm environment, Campo shows that he simply wants to settle in. On a leash, he already walks quite nicely, but loud engine noises and quickly passing cars still scare him a lot. Therefore, we are looking for a quiet home for Campo, preferably in the countryside, away from hectic city life. A securely fenced garden would certainly be a great help for him so that he can gradually discover the world. Campo is looking for people with patience, understanding and a quiet daily life, who do not have expectations of a "perfect" dog, but enjoy experiencing small progress together. A confident first dog could certainly provide him with security and show him that life with humans can also be beautiful. Campo – leise, vorsichtig und voller Hoffnung Der hübsche Mischlingsrüde Campo kam gemeinsam mit seinem Bruder Al im Herbst 2025 ins spanische Tierheim. Während Al inzwischen nach Deutschland reisen durfte, ist Campo alleine zurückgeblieben – und man merkt deutlich, wie sehr ihm sein Bruder als Orientierung und Halt gefehlt hat. Seitdem wirkt der sensible Rüde oft etwas verloren. Campo ist kein Hund, der sich sofort jedem Menschen in die Arme wirft. Er begegnet neuen Situationen zunächst vorsichtig und beobachtend. Doch wer ihm Zeit gibt und ihn nicht bedrängt, wird erleben, wie er langsam Vertrauen fasst. Besonders in ruhiger Umgebung zeigt Campo, dass er eigentlich einfach nur ankommen möchte. An der Leine läuft er bereits ganz ordentlich, allerdings machen ihm laute Motorengeräusche und schnell vorbeifahrende Autos noch große Angst. Deshalb wünschen wir uns für Campo ein ruhiges Zuhause, möglichst im ländlichen Raum, fernab von hektischem Stadtleben. Ein sicher eingezäunter Garten wäre für ihn sicherlich eine große Hilfe, damit er Schritt für Schritt die Welt entdecken kann. Campo sucht Menschen mit Geduld, Verständnis und einem ruhigen Alltag, die keine Erwartungen an einen „perfekten“ Hund haben, sondern Freude daran, gemeinsam kleine Fortschritte zu erleben. Ein souveräner Ersthund könnte ihm dabei durchaus Sicherheit geben und ihm zeigen, dass das Leben mit Menschen auch schön sein kann.
