I currently live on a foster home with 4 dogs (2 boys and 2 girls) and 2 cats. I get along well with all of them and am part of the everyday routine – mostly where something happens, sometimes just quietly observing to make sure everything is in order. With strangers, I am initially cautious. I do not rush over, but take everything in at a steady pace. I need a moment to understand that I am safe. Once I understand that, something wonderful happens: I become calm, come closer, and start to trust. And then I stay. Then I am not the cautious observer anymore, but simply your dog. I am looking for a quiet home without children, in a rural setting. People with dog experience would be important so that I can settle in at my own pace and no one expects me to do everything right away. A garden would be great – not for big action, but for settling in, sniffing around, and “sorting the world.” I am not a dog for immediate hugs, but one for real closeness when it has grown. Ich bin Carlos, ca. 1 Jahr alt, etwa 60 cm groß und 26 kg Hund mit großem Herzen und einem ziemlich guten „erstmal kurz checken, was hier los ist“ – Blick.Ich lebe aktuell auf einer Pflegestelle mit 4 Hunden (2 Jungs und 2 Mädels) und 2 Katzen. Ich komme mit allen gut klar und bin Teil des Alltags – meistens da, wo etwas passiert, manchmal auch einfach still daneben und am Beobachten, ob alles seine Richtigkeit hat.
