Origin: Linares (Andalusia) Location: Linares (Andalusia) Size/Weight: approx. 25 cm shoulder height, about 3 kg Other: Neutered, microchipped with EU pet passport, vaccinated and tested negative for Mediterranean diseases Character: Still a bit shy, friendly, people-oriented, gets along well with other dogs New home: Natural environment, people with dog experience, no small children, no expectations—patience and empathy required Adoption fee: 350 euros, including transport costs to Germany Forgotten and discarded—Carmen is one of many dogs in Spain who were simply no longer wanted. In the end, they end up in a perrera—a place full of hopelessness. Especially small dogs have little chance of survival there. We’ll never know how Carmen lived before, but her gaze speaks volumes. Thanks to kind people who gave her a “ticket out of hell,” Carmen was also able to be freed from the perrera. Saved—but not yet at the finish line! Currently, she’s living in a rescue center in Spain—better than before, but still far from a cozy home. A bare kennel, a plastic tub as a sleeping place, and many other lost souls—love and attention are in short supply. Carmen is very sad; she just can’t understand any of it. A gentle soul with a big heart and well past her puppy years—that’s little Carmen. She shows herself to be friendly, good-natured, and people-oriented, though initially cautious—which is only understandable after her ordeal. With a little patience, she’ll probably open up quickly. She gets along well with other dogs. Unfortunately, her coat wasn’t in great condition; she had to be completely shaved—but it will grow back, and with proper care, she’ll soon look enchanting again. Carmen’s blood work is looking really good, and her Mediterranean disease test came back completely negative! Yorkie girl Carmen is a real gem and is now eagerly waiting to finally be discovered—by someone who’ll show her how wonderful a dog’s life can be. Have you fallen in love? Carmen ist sehr traurig, sie kann das alles nicht verstehen.Ein zartes Wesen mit großem Herzen und jenseits der Flegeljahre , das ist die kleine Carmen. Sie zeigt sich freundlich, gutmütig und menschenbezogen, ist aber anfangs vorsichtig – was nach ihrer Odyssee nur verständlich ist. Mit ein wenig Geduld wird sie sich vermutlich schnell öffnen. Sie versteht sich gut mit anderen Hunden.Ihr Fell war leider in keinem guten Zustand, sie musste komplett geschoren werden – doch es wird wieder nachwachsen und mit der richtigen Pflege wird sie bald wieder bezaubernd aussehen.
