Adopt Casi

Female · Kitten · 6 months

The approximately 6-month-old Casi with her tricolor fur is a real lucky cat. Currently, the kitten is still in Spain, where it was born. There, our partners are caring for the sweet kitty. Unfortunately, Casis start in life was more than unpleasant: undernourished and abandoned, she was found at a dump. Therefore, she is now looking for a home where she can finally feel safe and secure. She really wants to live with another kitten of about the same age so that the two can play, cuddle, and have fun together. At the foster home, she currently lives with Carapan—the two are a real dream team. Upon arrival, she will be tested for FiV and FelV, as well as vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped. The female cat will come with a spay clause. Would you like to make Casi your personal lucky cat and add some color to your life? If so, please contact us!

About Casi

What life with Casi looks like

Casi is a puppy/kitten cat waiting at Aktion Tierisch Happy e.V. in Germany.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Casi, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Casi?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Aktion Tierisch Happy e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Casi on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Casi if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Aktion Tierisch Happy e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Casi already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Casi isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Aktion Tierisch Happy e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Casi and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
