Cassie came to us as an extremely shy kitten from the animal shelter Paderborn and was initially sick for a long time due to and as a result of a strong parasite infestation. Now, however, she is completely fit and not as shy anymore. She lets herself be stroked and enjoys it, especially with treats. She now often lies relaxed on the sofa when we slowly approach her and lets herself be stroked. With strangers, she prefers to keep her distance, but with food, she can quickly win her heart, as she is very greedy. Cassie is compatible with other cats, and when chilling on the sofa, she seeks the proximity of our "Omi," and she also likes to play in the garden with the younger cat. Unfortunately, she has started to urinate in the water bowls instead of the litter boxes if she can't get outside over a longer period (e.g., at night). For this reason, we are looking for a new home for Cassie where she has permanent outdoor access, such as through a cat flap. Cassie is used to being let out and wants to have this as well! Inside, she is very quiet and reserved, but outside, she is a diligent mouse catcher! She was born around 06/24, neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and dewormed. She will be given with an adoption contract from the animal shelter Paderborn and against an adoption fee, which will go entirely to the animal shelter Paderborn! Cassie ist als extrem scheues Kitten aus dem Tierheim Paderborn zu uns gekommen und war am Anfang aufgrund und als Folge eines starken Parasitenbefalls lange krank, nun ist sie aber völlig fit und auch nicht mehr ganz so scheu. Gegen Leckerli lässt sie sich streicheln und genießt das auch. Mittlerweile bleibt sie auch oft entspannt auf dem Sofa liegen, wenn wir uns langsam nähern und lässt sich streicheln. Bei fremden Personen bleibt sie lieber auf Abstand, aber mit Futter kann man ihr Herz schnell gewinnen, da sie sehr verfressen ist. Mit anderen Katzen ist Cassie verträglich, beim Chillen auf dem Sofa sucht sie die Nähe unserer „Omi“ und mit der jüngeren Katze wird auch mal wild durch den Garten getobt. Leider hat sie begonnen, immer in die Wassernäpfe statt in die Katzenklos zu pinkeln, wenn sie über einen längeren Zeitraum (z.B. nachts) nicht raus kann. Aus diesem Grund suchen wir ein neues Zuhause für Cassie, wo sie dauerhaften Zugang nach draußen, z.B. über eine Katzenklappe, haben kann. Cassie ist Freigang gewöhnt und möchte diesen auch haben! Drinnen ist sie sehr ruhig und zurückhaltend, draußen ist sie eine fleißige Mäusefängerin! Sie ist ca. 06/24 geboren, kastriert, gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt. Sie wird mit Tierheim-Vertrag des Tierheims Paderborn und gegen eine Schutzgebühr abgegeben, die dann vollständig an das Tierheim Paderborn geht!
