Cedric

Mixed Breed · Male · Adult · 4 years

Cedric arrived at Triple A after suffering a serious accident that completely changed his life. The severe trauma caused a major head injury that ultimately left him almost completely blind. He underwent surgery and, for a long time, his condition was very critical. Because of the trauma, his nose was constantly blocked with mucus and he had to be fed via a feeding tube. Those were very difficult days, during which we didn’t know if he would pull through. But Cedric proved to be a real fighter. Today, he has come through that very difficult period. Although he has very little, if any, vision, and occasionally still needs help because his nose becomes blocked with mucus, he has learnt to adapt to his new reality. What’s more, he gets on well with other cats, showing a calm and sociable nature. Cedric reminds us every day that limitations do not define a cat. What truly defines him is his strength, his zest for life and the chance he deserves to continue enjoying life surrounded by love. 💛 Cedric needs people who will look beyond his disability and discover the wonderful cat behind it. ✨ Adopt, foster or sponsor Lucky. He needs you, and we’re sure that getting to know him will leave a lasting impression on you. 📩 Adoption enquiries: 📸 Follow us on Instagram:

About Cedric

What life with Cedric looks like

Cedric is an adult mixed breed cat waiting at Triple A Marbella in Marbella.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇪🇸Adopting from Spain

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee. Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.

Frequently asked

Adopting Cedric, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Cedric?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Triple A Marbella handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Cedric on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Cedric if I live in another country?: Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Triple A Marbella will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Cedric already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Cedric isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Triple A Marbella early rather than rehoming privately; they know Cedric and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
