Adopt Socio

Akita · Male · Senior · 9 years

Socio has been visited the shelter already a few times in the past, when he was found without his owner, and stayed in the shelter a few days before he was picked up again. Already then we thought we will probably be seeing him again one day. And not long time later, Socio was given away by the owner, after the years that Socio spent sleeping in his bed, dedicating his life to his human. Socio is now looking for a new home, where he can peacefully spend his remaining years, without coming in and out of the shelter every few months. Socio loves going for walks with our volunteers. He is not the kind of dog to directly go happily kissing every stranger, no, Socio is a dog with his own character and he has his own private space. He is thankful to people who will respect him and handle him like a majestic animal that he is, and not a cuddle toy for the sofa. Socio is active and sporty, but at the same time, he is relaxed in his kennel and does not jump around stressed. As he is coming from a home environment, then we can be quite sure he is house trained and used to living in a home. He is a type of a Akita/Husky/Jindo breed of dog.
