CEDRIK

Collie · Male · Adult · 5 years

CEDRIC - eager to experience life - Male, 5 years, born ca. 10/2021, vaccinated, chipped, EU passport. - Waiting in France! Cedrik is the brother of MANDIE, who has already moved to her new home. Everyone is thrilled with her. The vet estimated the siblings to be Collies, although purebred status cannot be guaranteed. We haven't looked for CEDRIC yet because there were supposedly adopters in France. However, it turned out he would never leave the garden, no walks, etc. That's not possible at all. So now we're looking for the right people for this friendly, sociable and absolutely cuddly little treasure (he's smaller than a Collie or he's not yet a year old). He hasn't been taught much yet, and the weeks in the kennel are of course lost time. But that can be quickly made up for, because he wants to do everything for a praise. Who would like to give CEDRIC this chance? If you would like to give CEDRIC a home, info and contact: Ingrid Belz, email: - www.joshi2.de - We grant data release for all persons involved in animal welfare.

CEDRIC - möchte noch viel erleben - Rüde, 5 J., geb.ca.10.2021, geimpft, gechippt, EU-Paß. - Wartet in Frankreich !

About CEDRIK

What life with CEDRIK looks like

CEDRIK is a small adult collie dog waiting at Tier-Not-Hilfe in Germany.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Dogs and cats typically leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with an EU pet passport.

Frequently asked

Adopting CEDRIK, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about CEDRIK?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tier-Not-Hilfe handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw CEDRIK on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt CEDRIK if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tier-Not-Hilfe will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is CEDRIK already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if CEDRIK isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tier-Not-Hilfe early rather than rehoming privately; they know CEDRIK and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
