He sits quietly, looking through the bars and waiting. He no longer knows what for. Maybe a miracle. Maybe just someone who notices him. His past is very sad. We found him in the village when we went to save other puppies. The residents told us about an old dog that had been hit by a car a few weeks earlier. He was lying there, broken, scared, with a poorly healed back leg, without help, without hope. An old dog who had just been waiting for it all to end. It didn't end. We took him home. And for the first time in his life, he got what every dog deserves. Safety, warmth, a full bowl, veterinary care, and peace. Cenda likes people. At first, he is cautious, a bit of a "shy type," but he quickly gets used to it. And then he becomes a loyal companion who sticks to his human like a shadow.

Sedí potichu, pozerá sa spoza mreží a čaká. Už ani nevie na čo. Možno na zázrak. Možno len na niekoho, kto si ho všimne. Jeho minulosť je veľmi smutná.Našli sme ho v osade, keď sme išli zachraňovať iné šteniatko. Obyvatelia nám povedali o starom psovi, ktorého pred týždňami zrazilo auto. Ležal tam ubolený, vystrašený, so zle zhojenou zadnou nožičkou, bez pomoci, bez nádeje. Starý havino, ktorý už len čakal, kedy to celé skončí.Neskončilo. Vzali sme ho k nám. A prvýkrát v živote dostal to, čo si každý pes zaslúži. Bezpečie, teplo, plnú misku, veterinárnu starostlivosť a pokoj.Čenda má rád ľudí. Zo začiatku je opatrný, trochu „netýkavka“, ale veľmi rýchlo si zvykne. A potom sa z neho stane verný kamarát, ktorý sa drží svojho človeka ako tieň.
