Cezi-2

Mixed Breed · Male · Puppy · 10 months

Native Country: Hungary Cezi, the dearest, came to Menhely from the village of Pilis on December 4, 2025, together with her brother Evron, who sadly passed away, Mamma Gizi, and Papa Feliksz. Her owner passed away, and there was no family member or relative who wanted to give the dog family a new home. Sadly, she found her way to the animal shelter. We hope that Menhely is only a short stop for Cezi, and that he will soon be able to claim his ticket to his new home. Cezi is a loving and friendly puppy. At his age, he is playful, lively, and curious, sometimes still unsure, as the very limited animal shelter world can be. New situations can also intimidate him. He is a small rough diamond whose life must now be guided into the right paths, as he brings the best prerequisites to become a wonderful companion. For his further life, he still needs to learn everything from his loving humans, what a young puppy needs to know for his future life. Cezi has Komondor blood through his father Feliksz, so an Hungarian herding dog listed as a shepherd. He needs a loving but consistent upbringing. How much Komondor essence is in him will become clear. Cezi wishes for a garden and wants to live on the land; in the city, he would not be happy. Cezi gets along well with his fellow animals and lives in a group of young dogs. For our wonderful Cezi, we are looking for lovers and enthusiasts of these dogs who love, value, and meet the needs of these animals. Dog-loving people who can offer Cezi a full family connection, enjoy being outdoors, love walks, spoil him with daily cuddles, and art-appropriate exercise, of course, in accordance with his age. With Cezi, they will get a loyal and faithful companion who will stick with their people through thick and thin. Who will enter a lifelong human-dog partnership with Cezi? Currently, Cezi is still too young for castration, which must be done by his new owners when he is old enough. His final height of 58-68cm and final weight of 30-40kg are only estimated. On December 30, 2025, Cezi was 53cm and 16kg. On February 25, 2026, a voluntary, Hungarian helper wrote: "Cezi came to the animal shelter in December 2025. In February 2026, we got to know Cezi on the playground of the shelter on the mentor day. Cezi is a very affectionate, loving, and friendly young puppy. He loves people and also likes children very much. He is people-oriented, cheerful, and happy. He enjoys cuddles and being spoiled, gives kisses generously, and cuddles for his life. Cezi lives with several dog companions in a yard. He likes to play with the other dogs and loves fetch games. He is lively, active, attentive, and full of energy. Together with the other dogs, he patiently waited for cuddles from the mentors and showed his great love for people. Cezi needs a lot of attention, affection, and mental stimulation. He quickly became the favorite of the mentors and made quick friends. On the leash, he is well handled.". This is a young, adolescent dog.

About Cezi-2

What life with Cezi-2 looks like

Cezi-2 is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Animal Happyend in Animal Happyend.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇨🇭Adopting from Switzerland

Swiss shelters require a home visit (Platzkontrolle) and proof of suitable accommodation. Cantons each have their own additional dog-keeping requirements (e.g. SKN training in some areas). Animals leave sterilized and chipped.

Frequently asked

Adopting Cezi-2, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Cezi-2?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Animal Happyend handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Cezi-2 on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Cezi-2 if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Animal Happyend will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Cezi-2 already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Cezi-2 isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Animal Happyend early rather than rehoming privately; they know Cezi-2 and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
