Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, approximately 9-10 years old Appearance: black, brown and white Temperament: gentle, calm, homely Health: very ill, heart problems, pancreas issues, spleen problems, dermatological issues Location: emergency foster home, Magnuszew Contact for adoption: , for DT: Adoption survey -> HERE Chanel is an approximately 9-10 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Chanel charmed us from the first meeting with her gentleness and calmness. Despite what she has been through, she remains a very gentle and affectionate dog. Chanel is totally homely. She gets along well in the company of people, she also gets on well with other cavaliers that came to us. Everything suggests that she could easily live with a nice canine companion. This is a calm little girl who most needs today a sense of security and ordinary, warm daily life. Unfortunately, her health is much worse, as we have many challenges ahead. Chanel is one of the most neglected puppies from the whole group of cavalier dogs that came under our care. We are facing dental treatment, diagnostics and planning BOAS correction, as well as further cardiological care (heart disease will require lifelong treatment). However, this is not all. Chanel also struggles with chronic pancreatic insufficiency, requires ear and skin treatment, has changes on the spleen, which fortunately remain stable for now and only require regular monitoring. There is a stone in her gallbladder, so we will consider further action together with doctors. The tests also show changes in the kidneys and anemia, although today the blood parameters are stable. We know that finding a loving permanent home for such an ill dog that won't be scared of treatment, regular doctor visits and patiently supporting Chanel may be more difficult. That is why we would like to look for her also a special temporary home that will help her recover with our support. Of course, we provide full technical and veterinary support. If you feel that you can give Chanel a safe corner and some of your time, please contact us. Contact for adoption: For DT:

Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, wiek ok. 9-10 lat Wygląd: czarno-brązowo-biała.Charakter: delikatna, spokojna, domowa.Zdrowie: bardzo pochorowana, problemy z sercem, trzustką, śledzioną, dermatologiczne.Miejsce pobytu: awaryjny dom tymczasowy, Magnuszew.Kontakt w sprawie adopcji: , w sprawie DT: Ankieta adopcyjna -> TUTAJ Chanel to ok. 9-10 letnia sunia rasy Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Przed nami leczenie stomatologiczne, diagnostyka i planowanie korekty BOAS, a także dalsza opieka kardiologiczna (choroba serca będzie wymagała leczenia do końca życia). My oczywiście zapewniamy pełne wsparcie merytoryczne i weterynaryjne. Jeśli czujesz, że możesz podarować Chanel bezpieczny kąt i trochę swojego czasu, odezwij się do nas. About CHANEL

What life with CHANEL looks like

CHANEL is a senior mixed breed dog waiting at Fundacja AST (Adoptuj Staffa i Teriera) in Poland.

Senior dogs settle in faster than younger ones. They want a soft bed, predictable meals, and short, sniff-heavy walks rather than runs. Many senior rescues bond deeply within weeks because they understand exactly how good a stable home is. Expect occasional vet visits for joint or dental care.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting CHANEL, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about CHANEL?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Fundacja AST (Adoptuj Staffa i Teriera) handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw CHANEL on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt CHANEL if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Fundacja AST (Adoptuj Staffa i Teriera) will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is CHANEL already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if CHANEL isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Fundacja AST (Adoptuj Staffa i Teriera) early rather than rehoming privately; they know CHANEL and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
