His story: Chester has already taken the first step towards a better future and is settling in well in his foster home in Baiersdorf. He is a true ray of sunshine and always in a good mood. Chester loves all people and is very attuned to his primary caregiver. Once he has built trust, he goes through thick and thin with his person. He already knows how to relax, enjoys his soft bed, and is even house-trained. He gets along great with other dogs, and cats currently live together with him in the foster home. On the leash, he is relaxed and doesn't pull. Only during dog encounters or new situations is he still a bit unsure and then seeks protection with his person. Chester is a very smart, friendly, and cheerful dog. In short, just a true dream dog ❤️ Chester has a medium height of about 50 cm and weighs around 20 kg. Perfect for all adventures. Chester was discovered by our animal welfare worker Andras in Romania on a parking lot, where he fed him for several weeks on his way to work. One morning, he noticed that Chester was injured, which he suspected was caused by other dogs that roam the area. Andras took him in, and so he could be placed in a private shelter in Zalau and not end up in the public shelter where animals are still regularly killed. For Chester, we are looking for active people who want to take him on nature walks, go hiking, or enjoy dog sports like agility, mantrailing, or tracking. He is looking forward to being physically and mentally challenged. Of course, cuddle time on the sofa should not be neglected either 🙂 At about 3-4 years old, he has already passed the child-rearing stage and the exhausting time of puberty. Chester is ready when you are. And honestly, can you resist those eyes and that cheerful look? Chester can be neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and treated for fleas for an adoption fee of 500 Euros into his new family. His EU pet passport is also packed and ready. Seine Geschichte: Chester hat den ersten Schritt in eine bessere Zukunft bereits geschafft und lebt sich prima in seiner Pflegestelle in Baiersdorf ein. Er ist ein echter Sonnenschein und immer gut drauf. Chester liebt alle Menschen und orientiert sich auch sehr an seiner Bezugsperson. Wenn er Vertrauen aufgebaut hat, geht er mit seinem Menschen durch Dick und Dünn. Er kommt bereits gut zur Ruhe, geniesst sein weiches Bettchen und ist sogar schon stubenrein. Mit anderen Hunden versteht er sich super und auch Katzen leben aktuell mit ihm zusammen in der Pflegestelle. An der Leine läuft er locker, ohne zu ziehen. Nur bei Hundebegegnungen oder neuen Situationen ist er noch etwas unsicher und sucht dann Schutz bei seinem Menschen. Chester ist ein sehr kluger Hund, freundlich und fröhlich. Also einfach nur ein echter Traumhund ❤️ Chester hat mit ca. 50 cm und ca. 20 kg eine schöne mittlere Größe. Perfekt für alle Unternehmungen. Chester wurde von unserem Tierschützer Andras in Rumänien auf einem Parkplatz entdeckt, wo er ihn mehrere Wochen auf dem Weg zur Arbeit gefüttert hat. Eines Morgens bemerkte er, dass Chester verletzt war, er vermutete durch andere Hunde, die dort in der Gegend herumstreunen. Kurzerhand nahm er ihn mit und so konnte er in dem privaten Shelter in Zalau untergebracht werden und landete nicht im öffentlichen Shelter, in dem noch regelmäßig getötet wird. Für Chester suchen wir aktive Menschen, die mit ihm schöne Spaziergänge in der Natur machen wollen, Wanderungen oder gerne auch Hundesport, wie Agility, Mantrailing oder Fährtensuche. Er freut sich schon darauf, körperlich und geistig ausgelastet zu werden. Auch auch die Kuschelstunden auf dem Sofa dürfen nicht zu kurz kommen 🙂 Mit seinen ca. 3-4 Jahren hat er die Kinderstube und die anstrengende Zeit der Pubertät bereits hinter sich gelassen. Chester ist bereit, wenn Du es bist. Und mal ehrlich, kann man diesen Augen und dem fröhlichen Blick wirklich widerstehen? Chester kann kastriert, gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt und entfloht gegen eine Schutzgebühr von 500 Euro in seine neue Familie ziehen. Seinen EU-Heimtierausweis hat er ebenfalls schon eingepackt.
