Chico, born approximately February 2024, neutered, approximately 60 cm shoulder height, in the shelter since August 2024 Chico had great fear after arriving from the public animal shelter. He buried himself in a hole and refused to come out. We therefore moved him to friendly and people-oriented puppies so he can learn how great people can be. Fortunately, young dogs recover very quickly. Although he is still a bit reserved and not a daredevil, he is a very gentle and funny young boy. He has already been able to spend a nice time with our volunteers and show how great he walks on a leash. Now he needs the right connection to the already accumulated positive experiences. Currently in Romania and allowed to travel if a home is found. Travels chipped and vaccinated (EU vaccination passport; vaccinations: rabies and basic immunization). All dogs are treated against intestinal parasites and ectoparasites upon arrival at the shelter and at least once a year thereafter. The described behavioral observations are based on everyday life in the shelter and may be different in a domestic environment under changed living conditions. 02/2026 Chico, geboren ca. 02/2024, kastriert, ca. 60 cm Schulterhöhe, im Shelter seit 08/2024 Chico hatte nach der Ankunft aus dem öffentlichen Tierheim große Angst. Er hat sich in einem Erdloch vergraben und wollte dort nicht mehr heraus kommen. Wir haben ihn daher zu freundlichen und menschenbezogenen Junghunden umgesetzt, damit er von ihnen lernt wie toll man Menschen finden kann. Zum Glück erholen sich junge Hunde sehr schnell. Auch wenn er noch etwas zurückhaltend und kein Draufgänger ist, so ist er doch ein ganz sanfter und lustiger junger Kerl geworden. Er konnte mit unseren Volontären bereits eine schöne Zeit verbringen und dabei zeigen, wie toll er an der Leine läuft. Jetzt braucht er den richtigen Anschluss an die bereits gesammelten positiven Erfahrungen. Befindet sich aktuell in Rumänien und darf ausreisen, wenn er ein Zuhause gefunden hat. Reist gechipt und geimpft (EU Impfpass; Impfungen: Tollwut und Grundimmunisierung). Alle Hunde werden bei ihrer Ankunft im Shelter sowie anschließend mindestens einmal jährlich gegen Darmparasiten und Ektoparasiten behandelt. Die geschilderten Verhaltensbeobachtungen basieren auf dem Alltag im Shelter und können sich in einem häuslichen Umfeld unter veränderten Lebensbedingungen entsprechend anders darstellen.
