Adopt Chilli & Majo ca. 7 Monate

European Shorthair · Female · Young · 1 year

Chili and Majo have now moved to a loving foster home where they have company from little Fibi. From her, they are learning how life as house cats works. Majo shows himself to be the braver one: he plays, explores his surroundings curiously, and has quickly figured out who gives the best treats. Little Chili, on the other hand, loves to relax on the sofa and “chill.” She is more reserved and often quiet – but when it comes to playtime, she’s happy to join in. She is now quite good with petting; she purrs while being stroked and can already be picked up. Despite all these advances, both are still shy and need time to get used to new people. They are looking for a family that is sensitive and patient with them, allowing the two to go at their own pace to build trust. If you are interested in Chilli & Majo, please contact the Brügmann family directly to arrange a meet-and-greet appointment. Update 2.3.2026: Ellie has moved to her new playmate. Update 20.2.2026: Pommes has found a nice home. Ellie, Chilli, Pommes & Majo come from a hot spot of unneutered, human-shy cats. They were secured to be neutered. Initially, they were quite feisty and didn’t want much to do with us. Now, however, they can all be touched and begin to purr with people they’ve known longer. Ellie was the first to shed her distrust, enjoys being petted, and sometimes jumps onto shoulders, starting to purr loudly. We are looking for a calm home for this little gang where they can be patiently and empathetically shown that there is no need to fear humans. Sooner or later, they too will become little cuddle monsters. The four can be adopted in pairs or individually into a home with an existing friendly companion animal from whom they can learn that there’s no reason to fear humans. All the youngsters are already neutered and are looking for a loving home that can offer them free range. This cat needs outdoor access.

Frequently asked

Adopting Chilli & Majo ca. 7 Monate, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Chilli & Majo ca. 7 Monate?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierschutzzentrum Ribbesbüttel handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Chilli & Majo ca. 7 Monate on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Chilli & Majo ca. 7 Monate if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierschutzzentrum Ribbesbüttel will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Chilli & Majo ca. 7 Monate already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Chilli & Majo ca. 7 Monate isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierschutzzentrum Ribbesbüttel early rather than rehoming privately; they know Chilli & Majo ca. 7 Monate and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
