Chino is a male mixed breed dog born in December 2025, who comes from an unwanted litter. He was given up to the shelter of our Hungarian partner organization along with his siblings. He is a sweet and gentle boy who approaches everyone with kindness and openness. He enjoys being petted, is very attached, and curiously explores his surroundings. He is lively, enjoys learning, and is easy to motivate. Due to his friendly nature, he is a wonderful family dog, and families with understanding children would also have great joy with him. Chino has an entropion (rolled eyelid) in his right eye. This means that the eyelid rolls inward, which continuously irritates the eye surface. An operation is recommended as soon as he is fully grown. In addition, the composition of the tear fluid is not sufficient (so-called qualitative KCS - Keratoconjunctivitis sicca). The use of hyaluronic acid-containing tear substitute fluid (artificial tears) is recommended. He gets along well with all his peers and would be a good choice as a second dog to another playful dog. It is not known how he reacts to cats. Chino wants loving and active people who have a lot of free time, can patiently introduce him to his new life, and live either on the outskirts of the city or in the countryside. Some experience in dog keeping should already be available.

Chino ist ein im Dezember 2025 geborener Mischlingsrüde, der aus einem unerwünschten Wurf stammt. Gemeinsam mit seinen Geschwistern wurde er im Tierheim unserer ungarischen Partnerorganisation abgegeben. Er ist ein lieber und gutartiger Bub, der sich allen Menschen freundlich und aufgeschlossen nähert. Er lässt sich gerne streicheln, ist überaus anhänglich und erkundet neugierig seine Umgebung. Er zeigt sich lebhaft, hat Spaß am Lernen und ist leicht zu motivieren. Aufgrund seines netten Wesens eignet er sich wunderbar als Familienhund, an dem auch Familien mit verständigen Kindern große Freude hätten. Chino hat am rechten Auge ein Entropium (Roll-Lid). Dies bedeutet, dass sich der Lidrand nach innen einrollt, weshalb die Augenoberfläche kontinuierlich irritiert ist. Eine Operation wird empfohlen, sobald er ausgewachsen ist. Darüber hinaus ist auch die Zusammensetzung der Tränenflüssigkeit nicht ausreichend (sogenannte qualitative KCS – Keratoconjunctivitis sicca). Die Anwendung von hyaluronsäurehaltiger Tränenersatzflüssigkeit (künstliche Tränen) wird empfohlen. Er versteht sich ausgezeichnet mit allen Artgenossen und wäre eine gute Wahl als Zweithund zu einem ebenfalls spielfreudigen Hund. Wie er auf Katzen reagiert, ist nicht bekannt. Chino wünscht sich liebevolle und aktive Menschen, die über viel freie Zeit verfügen, ihn geduldig an sein neues Leben heranführen und entweder am Stadtrand oder ländlich wohnen. Etwas Erfahrung in der Hundehaltung sollte bereits vorhanden sein.
