Choco

Mixed Breed · Male · Kitten · 2 months

Choco is a lovely black kitten who arrived at Triple A alongside Monti and Pocho. He’s a bit shy at first and doesn’t like being approached abruptly, so you need to approach him calmly and respect his space. Once he starts to trust you, he’ll let you stroke him and gradually show his sweetest side. He’s very sociable with other cats and really enjoys their company. Choco just needs a patient family who will give him a little time to settle in and realise that he can feel safe and loved in his new home. Now all he needs is to find that family who are willing to wait for the right moment and want to give him the chance to be happy. 🖤 🏡 To ensure his safety, it is essential that windows and balconies have appropriate safety measures in place before adoption. About Choco

What life with Choco looks like

Choco is a small kitten mixed breed cat waiting at Triple A Marbella in Marbella.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇪🇸Adopting from Spain

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee. Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.

Frequently asked

Adopting Choco, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Choco?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Triple A Marbella handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Choco on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Choco if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Triple A Marbella will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Choco already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Choco isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Triple A Marbella early rather than rehoming privately; they know Choco and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
