Cinnamon

Mixed Breed Cat · Male · Puppy

Meet little Cinnamon. He was originally born outside so he hasn’t had many encounters with people so far. So we are looking for a special someone who has plenty knowledge of kittens and the socialising process. Someone who has the time, patience and willingness to give him all the positive interactions and experiences he needs to grow in confidence. Cinnamon will need a room of his own for the settling in period. He will need to be given lots of time and patience to acclimatize and settle. He’s new home will need to have plenty of understanding and time to put in to building a trusting relationship. In the cattery Cinnamon has shown lots of interest in some of the other cats, so we feel a home with a cat that feels the same way, may suit him best and help him blossom. Once old enough and ready, he’ll need a garden of his own to explore and enjoy. Please ask if you have any questions. Thank you! About Cinnamon

What life with Cinnamon looks like

Cinnamon is a puppy/kitten mixed breed cat dog waiting at RSPCA Brighton & The Heart of Sussex in United Kingdom.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Cinnamon, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Cinnamon?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. RSPCA Brighton & The Heart of Sussex handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Cinnamon on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Cinnamon if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — RSPCA Brighton & The Heart of Sussex will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Cinnamon already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Cinnamon isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with RSPCA Brighton & The Heart of Sussex early rather than rehoming privately; they know Cinnamon and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
