Citrouille et Minnie

Female

Minnie & Citrouille are two little gerbils ready for big adventures✨ Two sisters, two styles, one mission: to make every day more sparkling. Their routine is perfectly fine-tuned: breakfast every morning, then a royal nap with snack breaks (yes, life is a matter of balance 😌). Minnie is the powerhouse of the duo. Addicted to the wheel, she aims for a speed record at every training! Citrouille, more "explorer", prefers to dig, settle, and climb as if she were inspecting her territory. Both are extremely curious and expressive, they easily come to contact and rush as soon as the hand enters the terrarium in search of a snack 👀. Fast as lightning ⚡, they rarely hold still for more than 5 seconds... except to eat, of course. They sometimes put on a show by trying acrobatics in the wheel. Living with Minnie & Citrouille is a real happiness every day... even when they decide to redecorate their habitat in a miniature tornado style 😄 In summary: an adorable, funny and full of life duo, which turns every moment into a show 💛 If these two adorable gerbils have made you fall in love, write to us we would be happy to introduce them to you. Living conditions required: Habitat of minimum 6000cm2. Visible in the 44.

Frequently asked

Adopting Citrouille et Minnie, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Citrouille et Minnie?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Calinac handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Citrouille et Minnie on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Citrouille et Minnie if I live in another country?: Sometimes. Whether a animal can move between countries depends on the species and the rules in both countries, and some species need permits or have restrictions. Ask Calinac what paperwork and transport they require, and check the import rules of your country before you commit.
Is Citrouille et Minnie already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: What a animal comes with (vet checks, vaccinations, identification, paperwork) varies by shelter and species. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask Calinac directly what is included and what Citrouille et Minnie still needs.
What happens if Citrouille et Minnie isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Calinac early rather than rehoming privately; they know Citrouille et Minnie and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
