Clem is a lovely girl who has really blossomed in foster care. She walks nicely on lead, travels well in the car and enjoys a normal active lifestyle. She absolutely loves tug toys and is often seen carrying one around. She is clever, playful and always keen to learn when food is involved. With time and patience, Clem has built up to being left alone for short periods in foster. She will need help settling into a new routine, but we believe she could work up to being left for a few hours when needed. If you're looking for an affectionate, fun-loving companion who enjoys adventures by day and relaxing with her people afterwards, Clementine could be your perfect match. Clementine is a friendly, active Lurcher looking for a home that will let her take things at her own pace. She loves people but prefers to approach new faces herself before making friends. She is looking for a home where all family members are sensible older primary school age or above. Any children in the home, or regular visitors, should be able to respect her space and allow her to approach for attention when she feels comfortable. Clem generally prefers to keep her distance from other dogs but can occasionally bark at them when out and about. Carrying a ball helps her stay focused, and her new family should be prepared to continue supporting her around other dogs. She has had dog friends previously so there may be room for this to improve with a committed guardian. Clem would love an active home with plenty of walks, adventures and opportunities to learn. She enjoys a full lifestyle and would happily join her family on longer walks and hikes. She is very food motivated, loves training and is always keen to learn something new. Clem does have lifelong skin conditions that require ongoing management. Her medication and medicated baths keep her comfortable and allow her to enjoy life to the fullest, so her adopters must be committed to continuing this treatment long term.
