Adopt CLOE

Mixed Breed · Female · Senior · 10 years

Just like her sister Eve, CLOE is still waiting for someone to finally ask about her. Not a single request in three years since they arrived at the Enpa in Turin. But how is this possible? We truly can't believe it. That's why we need your help, asking you to share their appeals as much as possible so they can reach the right person or family. CLOE, who arrived from an animal shelter in Puglia, was born in 2016 (she's no longer a young one but we assure you she carries her years gracefully) and is of medium-large size (33 kg). She is infinitely sweet; it takes only a few minutes after meeting her to find her seeking cuddles and petting. We know unfortunately that her age and size don't play in her favor, but she will reward you with an infinite love and gratitude. She doesn't need mountain hikes, ocean swims, and kilometer-long runs; in fact, she just needs affection, a warm bed, some walks, a good meal, and some treats (not too many, or her figure would suffer 😜). For us volunteers, a couple adoption of the two sisters would be a dream, given that Eve and Cloe have always lived together and still share their box today, but we don't ask for too much. We just want to see them happy and loved, even if apart. And we are certain that they would also appreciate a permanent home. To learn more about CLOE: Via Germagnano, 8 from Monday to Saturday from 1 to 4 (if you want, bring some treats, we are certain she would appreciate them 😋)

About CLOE

What life with CLOE looks like

CLOE is a medium-sized senior mixed breed dog waiting at ENPA Sezione Torino in Torino.

Senior dogs settle in faster than younger ones. They want a soft bed, predictable meals, and short, sniff-heavy walks rather than runs. Many senior rescues bond deeply within weeks because they understand exactly how good a stable home is. Expect occasional vet visits for joint or dental care.

🇮🇹Adopting from Italy

Italian canili require adopters to sign a stewardship contract (affido) and may retain the right to verify the animal's wellbeing post-adoption. Animals are chipped and sterilized before leaving (Legge 281/91). Public canili rifugio typically waive adoption fees.

Frequently asked

Adopting CLOE, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about CLOE?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. ENPA Sezione Torino handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw CLOE on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt CLOE if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — ENPA Sezione Torino will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is CLOE already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if CLOE isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with ENPA Sezione Torino early rather than rehoming privately; they know CLOE and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (IT). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
