Adoption requirements Adoption process Ask about this animal now! Adoption requirements Adoption process Ask about this dog now! Clouds story begins with a miracle. The miracle that he is now lively and healthy with us and may now look for his family. Because Cloud comes from a case of poor husbandry. A farm full of dogs - which can now all be spayed. And Cloud is a small guy who almost lost the fight against the parasites that had attacked him. He was already very weak. But he was nursed back to health, cared for and properly looked after. Currently our "Wölckchen" is only 7 months old and weighs 6 kg. He will remain small, up to medium-sized. He has super soft fur in white and peach and bright amber eyes. Cloud is initially rather shy and observes new situations first to better assess them. But once someone picks him up, he forgets everything around him, snuggles up to you and clearly enjoys the security. He gets along well with other dogs and is compatible. We are looking for friendly and patient people for Cloud, who give him the necessary time to settle in and bloom. People who accompany Cloud on his way to becoming a family dog with empathy and show him how beautiful a dog's life can be. Due to his age and previous life, Cloud will still have to learn the basics of dog behavior. Housebreaking, walking on a leash, car travel - all of this will be new territory for Cloud. And then there's also adolescence. The hormones go on a rollercoaster and it can get a bit wobbly in his head. Especially then, a stable and consistent environment is incredibly valuable for the little puppy. Therefore, we would also be very happy if Cloud could go to a foster home, provided his heart's people take a little more time. Also, a visit to a positive working dog training class can be a wonderful support and help your team grow. Cloud travels neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed and treated for fleas and has an EU pet passport. After a positive adoption, would you like to give our Wölckchen a loving home? Then please contact us! Thank you Cornelia M., for this sweet name. Thanks to you, Cloud has not only a name, but also a chance. Status: 12.05.

Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt diesen Hund anfragen!

About Cloud

What life with Cloud looks like

Cloud is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Cloud, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Cloud?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Cloud on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Cloud if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Cloud already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Cloud isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Cloud and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
