Voor deze katten zoeken we een thuis waar hij niet naar buiten kan. Karakter en achtergrond van de kat: Clyde leefde samen met een kolonie katjes als buitenkat in de tuin van een lieve dame die elke dag voor hem zorgde. Toen deze dame moest verhuizen naar een serviceflat, bleef Clyde samen met de andere katten achter. Met veel verdriet werd ons om hulp gevraagd, zodat ook hij de kans kreeg op een veilige en liefdevolle thuis. Clyde werd gevangen samen met drie andere katjes. In het begin waren ze allemaal heel erg bang en onder de indruk van een verblijf binnen in huis. Het duurde toch enige tijd vooraleer hij langzaam op ontdekking ging. Tijdens het gezamenlijk eetmoment kwam Clyde ineens mee aanschuiven en sindsdien doet hij op zijn eigen tempo kleine stapjes vooruit. Het is nog een jonge kerel, maar toch een zeer rustige kat. Onbezonnen spelen is in het opvanggezin minder aan hem besteed. Hij ligt liever languit op de krabpaal rond te kijken en te genieten van de omgeving. Hij begint een aantal mensen uit het opvanggezin te vertrouwen en eet al lekkertjes uit je hand. Tijdens zijn avondeten laat hij hem uitgebreid aaien, maar gaat het te vlug of schrikt hij op dan is hij vlug weer weg. Het is dus zeker nog geen schootkat en kan soms wat bang reageren op nieuwe situaties, maar met voldoende tijd en rustige aandacht komt dit zeker helemaal goed. Daarom zoekt hij een huis waar hij vooral tijd krijgt. Tijd om alles rustig te ontdekken en nieuwe mensen opnieuw te vertrouwen. Hij is in het opvanggezin verschillende andere opvangkatjes gewoon en ook komt hij van een plaats waar er heel veel katjes samen leefden, dus we zoeken een gezin waar er zeker nog een sociaal vriendje woont. Niet noodzakelijk om mee te spelen, maar om wel een soortgenootje rond hem te hebben, want hij zit graag bij de andere katjes. Een rustig gezin, met niet teveel onverwachte situaties waar hij alle tijd krijgt om opnieuw te wennen en zichzelf verder te ontplooien. Hij houdt van een krabpaal vanwaaruit hij alles kan bekijken en lekker eten staat zeker ook op zijn verlanglijstje. Met tijd en aandacht zal deze kerel zeker openbloeien. Alle katten zijn ontvlooid, ontwormd, gevaccineerd, gesteriliseerd, gechipt en geregistreerd. Clyde is getest op aids en leucose en testte negatief op beide. We vragen de gebruikelijke tussenkomst in de dierenartskosten van 210 euro per kat omdat beide vaccinaties al gegeven werden. Adoptieprocedure: Er wordt eerst telefonisch nagegaan of er een goede match kan zijn tussen jou en de kat, nadien kan een afspraak gemaakt worden voor een bezoekje zodat jullie met elkaar kunnen kennis maken. Bij adoptie wordt een adoptiecontract getekend en de adoptiebijdrage wordt betaald bij het afhalen van de kat. Iedere kat vertrekt met een Europees paspoort.
