Clyde

American Bully · Male · Adult · 4 years

Clyde is one of the most beautiful bully boys that we have in the shelter, he has such strong presence and he will catch looks! He is a precious truffle pig! Because of his strong presence, it is important for him to be adopted by a family who understands the public's perception of these breeds, and follows the rules when going into public, so not to bring Clyde into trouble. He is a cuddly, kissy boy and people get afraid of his weight and enthusiasm while he just wants to give you slobby floppy kisses. Clyde was found with his sister/friend Bonnie running along the road, without a microchip. Clyde is a young strong dog, and though he is such a joy to be around and he walks very well on the leash in the nature, then probably in the town/city environment he will need patience and experience, as he has not had much of a life outside the shelter yet.... Clyde loves to jump in mud puddles and then come kiss you with his muddy face. His hobby is also pulling on big ropes, so if you are interested in training for Ironman, then Clyde will gladly be your training partner. He also loves to be in contact with the humans, and will concentrate on you quite easily (especially if you have snacks)! He is a very friendly and active boy, looking for his forever home. His shoulder height is 58cm. Clyde is positive in leishmania, which is controlled and his is physically in a good state. Before being diagnosed, his form of leishmania has slightly affected just his skin on the ears.

About Clyde

What life with Clyde looks like

Clyde is a medium-sized adult american bully dog waiting at Triple A Marbella in Marbella.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

Note from the shelter: Leishmania positive - controlled condition that slightly affected ear skin

🇪🇸Adopting from Spain

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee (typically €250–€400 for a dog, €100–€180 for a cat). Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.

Frequently asked

Adopting Clyde, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Clyde?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Triple A Marbella handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Clyde on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Clyde if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Triple A Marbella will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Clyde already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Clyde isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Triple A Marbella early rather than rehoming privately; they know Clyde and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
