Coco and Peanut

Female Β· Young Β· 1 year

Coco and Peanut are two lovely guinea pigs looking for a new home. Coco and Peanut came into their current home on 5th December 2024, shortly after they were born. They have been together ever since and are looking for a loving home where they can continue to enjoy life together. A little bit about them – Coco: Has a distinctive patch on her head, which can be seen in her photograph. Peanut: Has two lumps on her abdomen, one larger than the other. She has previously been examined by a vet, who advised that there was nothing to be concerned about. Their personalities and background: Coco and Peanut have never been around other animals and have no known behavioural issues. They enjoy having space to run around and particularly love being handled and receiving lots of attention. They would make lovely companions for someone who can offer them a safe, caring and loving home, with plenty of space, enrichment and affection. If you think you could offer Coco and Peanut their forever home, please get in touch to find out more! These are two females bonded siblings. Coco and Peanut are being rehomed as part of our home to home scheme. This means we don’t undertake any official medical or behavioural assessments but we are supporting their owner to try and find them the perfect match. If we think you’ll make a good match, we will share your contact details with the current owner. They will be in touch if they would like to discuss the adoption further, and potentially arrange to meet. Adopt a Small Animal, Bird, Aquatic or Exotic Animal – JSPCA

Frequently asked

Adopting Coco and Peanut, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Coco and Peanut?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. JSPCA β€” Jersey SPCA handles screening and the adoption contract directly β€” TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Coco and Peanut on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Coco and Peanut if I live in another country?
Sometimes. Whether a animal can move between countries depends on the species and the rules in both countries, and some species need permits or have restrictions. Ask JSPCA β€” Jersey SPCA what paperwork and transport they require, and check the import rules of your country before you commit.
Is Coco and Peanut already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
What a animal comes with (vet checks, vaccinations, identification, paperwork) varies by shelter and species. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported β€” ask JSPCA β€” Jersey SPCA directly what is included and what Coco and Peanut still needs.
What happens if Coco and Peanut isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work β€” that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with JSPCA β€” Jersey SPCA early rather than rehoming privately; they know Coco and Peanut and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect β€” names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
