Coco - Cat

Mixed Breed · Female · Kitten · 8 months

Coco - little fighter seeks loving forever home ❤️ Born: approx. 26.02.2026 Sex: female Neutered: yes FIV/FeLV test: performed at departure Location: foster home (Silvia) of our partner animal welfare association Help Labus in Galați, Romania Adoption fee: 220 EURO This charming female cat Coco is just 8 months old (as of 10/26) and has already had a difficult start in life. 💔 She was found on the street - with an anal prolapse, where intestinal tissue protrudes. Thanks to a veterinary operation, she could be helped: The colon was fixed to the abdominal wall to counteract a new incident. Today, the little mouse is lucky. She has recovered from the operation, is neutered and vaccinated and currently lives in a foster family. Currently, she shows no further health problems. Why the anal prolapse originally occurred is not certain. A severe constipation could have been the cause. Even though she is currently free of complaints, her future owners should know that her history makes attentive observation and possibly further veterinary checks advisable. Now all she needs is one thing: her own home, where she is loved, cared for and forever welcome. 🏡💕 Who would like to give the brave little Coco the chance at a happy life? Who gives her security, patience and lots of love? Coco wants safe outdoor access so she can explore nature and experience small adventures. A heavily trafficked road should be at least 200 meters away so she can safely be outside. ℹ️ Our cats are tested for FIV and FeLV, microchipped, dewormed, de-fleaed, vaccinated and travel with an EU pet passport. If the age is suitable, they are of course also neutered. Contact: Ein Herz für Fellnasen in Not e.V.

Kontakt: Ein Herz für Fellnasen in Not e.V.

About Coco - Cat

What life with Coco - Cat looks like

Coco - Cat is a kitten mixed breed cat waiting at Ein Herz für Fellnasen e.V. in Waakirchen.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Dogs and cats typically leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with an EU pet passport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Coco - Cat, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Coco - Cat?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Fellnasen e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Coco - Cat on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Coco - Cat if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Fellnasen e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Coco - Cat already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Coco - Cat isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Fellnasen e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Coco - Cat and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
