Crunch

Male · Kitten · 2 months

Come and meet our Cutie pie Crunch Crunch is such a charmer and doesn't he know it. Within minutes of meeting him he will have you wrapped around his paws. He is full of beans and a lot of energy to burn off. Once his had enough of zooming around he will climb on laps snuggling up for attention. When Crunch first arrived, he was a bit timid while settling and preferring to play but with time and patience he built up his confidence every day and is now an energetic affectionate sweet chap who loves attention and keep you entertained with all his silliness. Crunch is a sweet affectionate boy who should be fine to live with a school aged child who will spend lots of time playing with him letting him get use to you before interacting. He should be fine to settle into a quiet corner of the home with lots of cosy hiding places in case he gets scared. Once settled he will need outside access to explore and run around in. Until he is old enough she will need plans for a lunch time meal as he is a growing boy. About Crunch

What life with Crunch looks like

Crunch is a medium-sized puppy/kitten cat waiting at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home in London.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Crunch, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Crunch?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Battersea Dogs & Cats Home handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Crunch on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Crunch if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Battersea Dogs & Cats Home will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Crunch already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Crunch isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Battersea Dogs & Cats Home early rather than rehoming privately; they know Crunch and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
