Adopt Suki

Akita · Female · Adult · 4 years

Suki is a gentle and independent Akita with a calm, easy-going nature. She enjoys affection from her people but is just as happy pottering around and taking life at her own pace. She would suit a home that appreciates her relaxed, undemanding personality and gives her the space to truly settle and feel secure. Suki can feel uncomfortable around other dogs, especially bouncy dogs, but benefits from clear guidance and gentle management on walks. She will need to be kept on lead in public spaces due the intolerant behaviours we have seen from her while in our care.

Meet Suki! Suki is a beautiful Akita with a gentle soul and a wonderfully calm, independent nature. She’s the kind of dog who is happy to quietly potter by your side, taking everything in her stride and enjoying life at her own pace. While she loves a fuss from her people, she’s equally content doing her own thing, making her a lovely, easy-going companion. She has settled into kennel life with grace, but she’ll truly shine in a home that gives her the time and space to fully relax and feel secure.
